Apartment Moving Checklist

First apartment checklist

Use this checklist to avoide the pitalls of
renting that first apartment.

• Introduce yourself to your apartment property managers -- Introduce yourself to the apartment property manager and let them know that you will be moving in. Make sure you have a copy of your signed lease.
• Moving in to your aparment -- Keep the time of your move during normal hours, since you wouldn't keep your neighbors awake late into the night on your first day. Your moving day will be your chance to make a good first impression.
• Reserved parking spaces -- Always ask before taking someone’s reserved parking space, even on your moving day. Some apartment properties can assess a fine for parking in someone's parking spot.
