The life in San Jose is mostly dependant on high tech gadgets and tools. That is why most of the tech giants have a very heavy focus on this area. To commute across the city, you must have a car (well, literally you don’t move to San Jose if you cannot afford a car eh?). However, the public transport here in San Jose is pretty impressive.

When it comes to the dinning, San Jose remarkably lacks old school joints; instead the city is filled with many expensive restaurants which are not admirable for individuals that want to save some money. In the bay area however, you will be able to find a couple of joints that offer some sort of affordability. If you are willing to go to San Jose and settle there, you should either have enough savings or a highly lucrative job offer. It is compulsory for you to do enough research on the financial aspects before making the final call!

So, if you really want to move to San Jose, be prepared to live an expensive lifestyle (but with full of excitement). Make sure you do proper cost estimation and decide if the move is worth trying for. Have your kids’ school arrangements ready well in advance. Find some affordable socialization spots and mingle with the locale.
